From September 27 to October 4, baristas are hitting the streets with practice pickets in 35 cities across the country. In San Diego, our local baristas will be doing a practice picket on Oct. 1st! Together, we’ll show Starbucks that workers and allies are united and ready to do what it takes to win a fair contract and resolve unfair labor practices.

Join us for the kickoff orientation of the DSA San Diego Mentorship Program Pilot Cohort (Fall 2025). This new program is designed to connect new members with experienced organizers, strengthen our chapter’s capacity, and help each of us grow our skills in collective struggle.
Mentors and mentees will commit to a three-month program that includes:

General Assemblies (every 2–3 months)

Optional: Internal Organizing Committee meetings (monthly)
At this orientation, we’ll introduce the program, share expectations, and answer any questions. Whether you’re signed up as a mentor, a mentee, or just curious, you’re welcome to attend.
