    Race the 215 Bus
Santa Fe Depot, San Diego, CA 92101, USA

    RSVP HERE

Join our race against the Rapid 215 Bus by bike! The 215 is the highest ridership bus line in San Diego and it is so slow that a bike is faster. Let’s show the city that our most important bus is too slow, and that can be sped up by finishing the dedicated bus lane, turning on the bus priority signals, and implementing all door boarding. We will also have members riding the 215 for anyone not comfortable riding a bike.

Our route will start at Santa Fe Depot and we will follow the entire 215 route to its end at SDSU. We’ll race against the bus scheduled to leave at 4:30. The race should take about 55 minutes by bike.

PRIORITY CAMPAIGN

People Over Papers Priority

DSA San Diego is launching the “People Over Papers” campaign to combat federal immigration enforcement through political pressure, community patrols, and workplace organizing, viewing these efforts as a defense against white supremacist policies. The campaign will prioritize member safety through trained, methodical participation in these high-risk activities.

PRIORITY CAMPAIGN

Elections Priority

We are prioritizing the 2026 elections as a key opportunity to build socialist power, adopting an affordability-focused agenda modeled on successful campaigns from other major chapters. The chapter will coordinate this effort through its Electoral Working Group, involving all branches and working groups in activities like candidate support, union outreach, and membership recruitment, with the ultimate goal of establishing a “Socialists in Office” program.

San Diego Voter Guide – 2026

DSA San Diego’s Electoral Working Group breaks down every race and proposition on the San Diego ballot — from a socialist, working-class perspective.
