Join fellow transit advocates and users as we ride along the entire 215 bus line to see what it does right and what it does wrong. We will meet at Santa Fe Depot at 5pm and take the 215 bus scheduled to depart at 5:12pm. As we ride we will track how long we are delayed and discuss what can be done to speed up the bus line with the highest ridership in the county. The journey will take 50 minutes and bring us to SDSU, where we will walk over to the DSA Social at Majorette! All are welcome to join the bus ride, and to join the Social! Come meet fellow members that want to improve public transit in San Diego!

Join us to discuss Chapters 12-18 of If We Burn by Vincent Bevins at Torque Coffee.
The If We Burn Reading Group, hosted by San Diego DSA, will read and discuss Vincent Bevins’ new book in an online/in-person setting in March and April 2026. The group will reflect on the mass protest movements of the 2010s -seeking to understand their origins, evaluate their results, and debate what socialists in the USA can learn from the past cycle of struggle. The group will meet mostly in-person at San Diego library locations and will host social meet ups to get to know each other better. More importantly, the San Diego DSA will identify what makes our movement/organization different or similar to the mass protests/groups of the missing decade that failed and theorize what DSA can do within the current moment of American politics in order to achieve our goals.

The strike goes from 8am-1pm, but our official contingent will be joining the strike from 10am-1pm at the UCSD Hillcrest Medical Center (200 W Arbor Dr.). However, if you can be there earlier or can show up on another day we highly encourage you to make it out to the strike line to support these workers!
